CONTEST RULES:
The Rules – Chubby’s Angels vs. Scott
The participants are Chubby’s Angels and Scott Richter. Scott Richter will have a goal of losing 15 lbs. between August 31, 2007 and December 7, 2007 (the “Contest Period”). Chubby’s Angels has the goal of losing 150 lbs. collectively during the Contest Period. Chubby’s Angels includes the following employees: Aimee Taublieb, Jenny Frederick, Holly Hein, Myra Calley, Kacy Manning, Karen Vidick, Kelly Kerr, Kurt Kruckeberg, Regina Duran and Tracey Pollard. The Chubby’s Angels goal does not require each member to lose any particular amount of weight, only the group weight loss amount will be measured for the contest.
Should both teams reach their goal, each is a winner and neither team will have to perform the duties of a losing team.
If Chubby’s Angels wins (and Scott loses), they each get a Spa Day.
If Scott wins (and Chubby’s Angels loses), each member of Chubby’s Angels must wear cheerleading uniforms to work on the day of Scott’s choosing.
If neither team reaches their goal of weight lost, then the winner shall be judged on the percentage of overall bodyweight lost during the contest period.
Every contestant has the right to remove themselves from the competition at any time due to unforeseen personal conditions.
The Official Rules – Affiliate Guess the Final Weight Loss Contest
Each current Affiliate of CPA Empire®, a division of Media Breakaway, LLC, may enter one guess as to the combined weight loss (rounded to the tenth of a pound) that the two teams will achieve during the contest period (August 31, 2007 through December 7, 2007).
Entries must be submitted by using the form on "The Challenge" page of this website.
The winning entry will be the closest in number (without going over) to the actual combined weight loss of the weight loss contest participants.
All contest entries must be received via the website form or email by 10/15/07.
Should there be multiple winners; the $1,000 grand prize (the “Prize”) will be split evenly among all verified winning entries.
The participants will weigh in each Friday (travel and holidays permitting), beginning August 31, 2007, and ending December 7, 2007. Weight will be calculated to the nearest tenth of a pound (using traditional rounding techniques).
The winning entrant will be announced in the CPA Empire Weekly Affiliate Newsletter sent out on December 14th, 2007. The winning entrant must be an Affiliate in good standing with CPA Empire as of December 14, 2007.
The contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, eighteen (18) years of age or older as of 12/31/07. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
In the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, or if the Prize or Prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited and, at Media Breakaway’s discretion, may be awarded to an alternate eligible winner.
